
Teresa has been in the performance industry since she was four years old. She was discovered at that time by Talent Agent, Wayne St. John when she took it upon herself to stand on a table and sing “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. He immediately approached Teresa’s mother and hired her on the spot for her first paid gig. At four years old Teresa started working with professional recording studios in Toronto, ON. Her very first job was singing with Canadian Artists for United Way campaign, the song, “Christmas Don’t Leave us”. She was front and centre with oversized headphones, captured my CBS news, which aired later that night. From there Teresa started booking voice over work, commercials jiggles for Oreo, Fuji Film and Smarties, to name a few. At age 9 Teresa booked a recording job for Disney, where she got to meet and sing with Canadian recording artist Anne Murray. Later that year, Teresa also booked a job for Canadian T.V. program “Friday The 13th, the Series”, where she had to learn to speak and sing Gaelic. Teresa had a very busy childhood, from her recording work, travelling North America for dance competitions to performing in countless Musicals in her community of York Region, ON. At age 13, Teresa booked her very first professional Musical “The Sound Of Music” downtown Toronto, ON, playing the part of Louisa. Teresa was very involved in her High School Musical Theatre Program and stared in every one of their productions. All the while still competing across North America in Dance Competitions, receiving high honours and metals both in solo and group numbers. Right before Teresa graduated high school she booked her first contract with Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka, ON. Upon her receiving her diploma she was quickly moved up North to star as Lead Vocalist of “The Sing Show”. she completed two full contracts with Deerhurst Resort and decided to move home and focus on her dream of performing on Cruise Ships. Three months later, Teresa booked her first contract with Carnival Cruise Lines as Lead Singer. Teresa completed five full contracts and decided to return home. Within her years of being back on land, Teresa started a Toronto based Entertainment Company called “Lady Luck Productions”. She created, starred and booked shows for countless major corporate and private events In Canada. Teresa was very happy to promote and provide jobs for other Toronto based Artists as well. During this time Teresa also taught Musical Theatre classes for top Dance schools in Ontario as well as Head Dance Fitness Instructor for Flirty Girl Fitness, Toronto, ON. In 2016 Teresa was offered to return to Carnival Cruise Lines to star as Lead Vocalist/Dancer for their new 2.0 shows from “Playlist Productions”. Teresa has been with Carnival up until 2020. She is now very happy to be apart of Harmony School Of Dance & Music as her passion for teaching is just as strong as her passion is for performing. She is very honoured to share her knowledge, experience & training to children of all ages and levels.
