Marina Bournas

Assistant Instructor

Born and raised in Toronto, Marina Bournas has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics and musical theatre from the age of 3. She began her training at the Martha Hicks School of Ballet and graduated from Dance Pointe Toronto after completing several years as a competitive dancer. From a young age, Marina was passionate about the arts, and trained in the Triple Threat Program at Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts where she began to take her love for musical theatre more seriously. Marina went on to attend Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in Toronto, where she was a member of the music theatre, dance, and vocal program.

She is currently studying Political Science and European Affairs at the University of Toronto, hoping to pursue a career in law. Marina is also minoring in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies and is adamant about keeping the performing arts a constant part of her life. She is very excited to join the Harmony School of Dance team and passionate about passing on her love for dance and music to children!
